Rose City Gay Freedom Band
Since forming in 1990, Rose City Gay Freedom Band has been a place for GLBTQ musicians and friends to play, perform, and participate in PortlandŐs musical community. Today, RCGFB is comprised of a symphonic wind ensemble, a sixteen-piece swing band (Rose City Swing), a marching band, and several smaller performing groups.
Join the Band
The Rose City Gay Freedom Band welcomes anyone who plays an instrument to consider joining. While many members are accomplished musicians, many new members had not played since high school or college.
